Mission Salon

Hi there! My name is Caitlin, and I'm the owner of Mission Salon in Dublin, Ohio.


I got started in this industry in management after becoming licensed in esthetics. I loved the salon life and eventually reached a point when I felt I could go off on my own. After compiling a killer team of passionate, talented, hardworking, driven, and kind people, Mission Salon was born.

We are on the smaller side, with just 10 chairs and 4 shampoo stations. We love our close knit, laid back, friendly environment though, and wouldn't have it any other way! It's truly like working with your closest friends.

I love the beauty industry in general because of the way in which you show you care about people - helping them bring out the best in themselves and making them feel amazing and beautiful! I think anyone would agree it's the best part about our "jobs".

When it came to picking out what products we would use, there were a lot that came into my mind, though Davines was a brand we were pretty set on from the start. Once I met with Terri and Marie, I knew Davines was the line for us. It was one of the easiest choices to make. Since its involvement with Mission, the Davines community has taught us so much and has introduced us to so many wonderful people.

Davines' beliefs in sustainability, individuality, and creativity are one of the many reasons we chose them. Their philosophy of caring for the community and the world aligned with our mission of wanting to help others and do it in a way that isn't harmful to the earth. They have such a forward way of thinking and are changing the world. We wanted to be a part of that - why not!?

Our guests have loved Davines! They have become such big fans (if they weren't already) and have loved being able to be a part of something so amazing!

When we first learned about Davines, we also learned about B Corp business. This has since inspired us to start our journey on becoming a B Corp business, and we're currently certified, pending until our year mark, in summer 2019!

Terri, our rep, also introduced us to Green Circle. It was a no-brainer for us to partake in this initiative of recycling nearly EVERYTHING in the most sustainable manner! The separation process is easy and our whole team is involved. Our guests love it and so do we!

Being a part of Davines and Green Circle has let us give back to our community and the earth in ways we wouldn't have been able to otherwise. We are so grateful for ManocoBlue, Davines, and Green Circle for their involvement with our salon and their help in allowing us to evolve. It's been a true dream for me and I am thankful that we have a whole community of incredible people behind us. We are creating positive change together, while moving the industry forward. We can't wait to continue to grow with all of you and see what the future has for us, this industry, and our world.
